Head Scout and Founder Riley Highfill
John Riley Highfill is a basketball coach and sports professional from Richmond, VA, with experience at the high school, AAU, and college levels. A Liberty University graduate in Sport Management, he currently serves as Head Coach of Team Loaded 804 (17U) and Athletic Coordinator at Collegiate School. He has coached at programs like Deep Run, Benedictine, Saint Gertrude, Hampden-Sydney, and Richard Bland, and also runs youth basketball camps focused on skill development. Riley takes pride in mentoring young athletes and has had major success helping players earn college scholarships through training, exposure, and guidance both on and off the court.
Assistant Director of Scouting Malcolm Bridges
Coach Malcolm “Mac” Bridges is a dedicated basketball coach and mentor from Richmond, VA. A 2020 graduate of Benedictine College Preparatory, he now serves as an assistant coach for both Team Loaded 804 (2026) and his alma mater, Benedictine College Prep. Known for his passion for player development and youth mentorship, Coach Mac is committed to spreading positivity and motivating the next generation of athletes.
Assistant Scout Ryan Boone
Coach Ryan Boone serves as an Assistant Scout for Highfill Hoops and is currently an assistant coach at Deep Run High School and with Team Loaded 804. Known for his passion for player development and recruiting support, Coach Boone takes pride in helping student-athletes gain exposure and build connections with college coaches. His grassroots experience and strong relationships in the basketball community make him a valuable asset to the Highfill Hoops team and young athletes.
